| While die cutting is
the most common means of felt fabrication, Southeastern employs
many more methods for achieving specific results. Among these
are hand trimming, lathe turning, routing, grinding, sanding, skiving,
sawing and drilling. Even more exotic technologies are sometimes
used. For instance, the intricate saw-tooth shaped part (top)
was achieved by water jet cutting.
Southeastern Felt also offers
a full range of converting services for felt. Our capabilities include
slitting and rewinding strips of virtually any thickness and width.
We also have equipment to apply adhesive as well as other coatings.
In short, we are one company
that can handle all your felt needs...from recommending exactly the right
grade of felt textile to producing the final result.
